Principle and process

The objects to be tested need to be pre-treated before the test and kept in a dry state.

Place the pre-treated objects into the sand and dust test box. The volume of the test piece should not exceed one-third of the volume inside the box. Furthermore, the distance between the test piece and the inner wall of the equipment should be more than ten centimeters. After vacuuming, add talc powder to the chute: the amount of talc powder is calculated by the volume of the test equipment * 2kg/㎡.

After closing the doors and windows and taking sealing measures, you can start the test. The test process of this equipment is to use a fan to push a certain concentration of sand and dust and blow it across the surface of the test object at a certain flow rate. The main purpose of the test is to Test the ability of the object to prevent the penetration of fine dust when exposed to dry sand or a dust-filled environment, the ability to protect against the abrasive or blocking effects of gravel, and whether it can be stored and operated. After the test work is completed, the talc powder needs to be replaced.

The operator opens the box door on the left and the valve under the funnel, cleans the scrapped talc powder, and then puts the talc powder into the screen in the equipment box and starts the vibration by hand. , the talcum powder is vibrated into the funnel, and then blown into the box by wind. If an intermediate inspection is required during the test, it is necessary to stop the blower after reaching the specified test piece, wait until the dust falls, open the glass door, and conduct the inspection without taking out the sample. If the test does not require intermediate inspection, it can be done during the test. After waiting for the dust to completely settle, the operator directly takes out the sample.
